Coca Cola / Finley
Launching a new drink in Europe (called Finley) I was hired as a freelance creative producer to come up with the concept of a visual campaign. This was presented to the client and after green light produced by me: a two-day shoot with six models covering the annual highlights of a group of friends.
The client’s wish was specifically to show ‘real moments’ of people aged 30-40. That’s also the main target audience of the drink: it’s a mocktail - a drink with no alcohol that’s perfect for both a night out and staying in.
Our six models were cast based on this real-life component and the situations we chose (varying from New Years to Christmas and Friday afternoon drinks to lazy Sundays on the couch) had a genuine feel to it. To enhance that, I came up with a popular Instagram-like visual style. The photographer and videographer (for GIFs) were hired with this style in mind, both working for popular fashion blogs.
Besides the visual style it was important to have a senior art director who would add right feeling to each visual. We found a huge mansion in the South of Amsterdam where we were able to shoot almost all of the pictures in- and outside of the house.
