Starting at a video store in small town Heiloo to owning his own company in Amsterdam. With more than ten years experience in digital media, journalism and tv/film-productions, Tim is an allround filmmaker with a passion for everything that moves on screens. He's living his dream, as young Tim used to say: When I grow up I want to spend all day working with videos.
While he fills his professional time with content strategy, creative producing and digital media distribution, beneath all of that is a not-so-hidden passion for genrefilm (horror, thriller, sci-fi). Primarily running an Instagram account on which he reviews thriller/horror and hosting a nominated podcast with a group of filmjournalists discussing genrefilm.
His healthy addiction turned into his own podcast: a collaboration with bi-monthly magazine Schokkend Nieuws. So far guests vary from Brimstone director Martin Koolhoven to Hollywood actor Yorick van Wageningen. The podcast offers in-depth background about the world of genrefilm. In 2017 Schokkend Nieuws Podcast received a nomination for the Podcastmakersprijs.
At the moment Tim is working on two new podcasts: a personal journey into a dark past written as a crime series and an interviewshow which he develops under the flag of Wayne Parker Kent.
With an unstoppable hunger for better genrefilms Tim is also writing himself. He's developed screenplays for a slasher, VR-horrorfilm and at the moment he's collaborating with COC Nederland in writing a gay thriller about Russia.
Tim uses Instagram to write about films he watches, under the name TimSidious.
A live RTL morning show asked Tim to join as a filmexpert, which eventually lead to standing in front of the camera for René Mioch's FCCE.
